HULMA-ILIGAN CREATIVES COLLECTIVE is a convergence of artists, cultural workers, and advocates from Iligan City and across Northern Mindanao, united by a shared commitment to nurture a vibrant and sustainable creative ecosystem in the Southern Philippines. With Iligan and its surrounding regions emerging as dynamic centers for both traditional and contemporary art forms, Hulma seeks to cultivate a culture and arts hub that reflects and celebrates the diverse identities of indigenous, Islamized, and cosmopolitan communities.

Recognizing that a community’s vitality lies in the richness of its cultural fabric, Hulma believes that the creative expressions of its people are essential in shaping a humane, inclusive, and progressive society. Rooted in this belief, Hulma leads with a vision that places culture at the heart of community development.
